Educated in architecture and design, Paul's creative journey began years earlier with photography, and has evolved into published and award-winning art.
After a trip to shoot auto racing in Florida, he started experimenting with computer manipulations – over-exaggerating the contrast, color, and zoom – and discovered abstract art hidden in the backgrounds of his photographs. The result is art that is big, bright, and bold.
In traditional photography, Paul focuses on capturing unique moments in time, preserving life in fractions of a second. Publications have included the Los Angeles Times, Autoweek, and worldwide distribution through the Canadian Press.
Paul's writing has been published in California Planner, The Environmental Monitor, and True Romance magazines. He has also written several spec screenplays and songs. He believes in giving back to the community as a volunteer for Children’s Hospital of Orange County since 1995.
Paul's work has been on display at the Wyndham Hotel in Costa Mesa, the Dugan Library in Costa Mesa, the Orange County Fine Arts Association Exhibit Hall, and the Orange County Fair. He has won multiple ribbons for his art.
